Summer's End

Haven't updated and quite a while, just been too busy and have not been able to focus on very many internal things or personal projects.


I moved two months ago and now live close to Asheville. It is lovely here, I'm writing this outside and it's a beautiful sunny 66°.

On the land and housing front, I've mostly been gathering and purchasing tools, and getting all things ready that are needed to do the massive undertaking of building a home.


Currently waiting to see how interest rates drop before I take out a chunk of money to buy land hopefully the feds will drop the rate this month.


I'm a new owner of a manual diesel truck reminiscent of my childhood times. Say hello to my 1993 Ford F250.

In other news my company was sold last month so we are now in a two-year transitional phase. And starting first quarter next year I will be officially working for a different company.


2 years will round out my 10 years of working in this role. So it might even be an ideal time to look for something else. Who the hell knows what the world will look like in 2 years anyways.
